Yellow Pole
I love the stripped-down simplicity of this photograph. I often shoot on the Grand Union Canal in North West London near Willesden Junction. On this particular day there was a storm approaching from the north as the afternoon sun shone on the Car Giant Warehouses. It was one of those shoots when no matter how fast you shoot, you still miss pictures – in the space of about three minutes I got about six “keepers”.
