The Cemetery Keeper's Cottage

I photographed this image on a Sunday afternoon at Paddington Cemetery in Queen’s Park, London.

I’d done one of my usual Sunday walkabouts laden down with camera gear to the extent that I thought I’d rather not take my umbrella too. Poor decision. Again! Just a few minutes after capturing this image those dark clouds deposited much of their contents on my head as I dodged from one piece of inadequate selter to the next, trying to get home.

Paddington Cemetery seems to be much neater and more ordered than Kensal Green and not knowing it as well as I know Kensal Green, I felt it lacked a little of the ambience that Kensal Green so readily gives.
