Martindale Stream, Cumbria

Hundreds, possibly thousands of little trickles, cascades and bubbling springs all contribute to the flow of this stream running along the valley floor at Martindale near Ullswater in the English Lake District. This is one of several images I captured on an early morning shoot that began before sunrise. I was amazed at the variety of tones and colours the spring vegetation presented.
